I’m sure you’ve heard of the expression, sitting is the new smoking.
It’s not just an expression. This is a real problem.
And more so than ever, since many of us, as a response to the ‘global crisis’, are being told by our governments to work from home—when frankly, for many of us, our homes are not set up to allow us to work comfortably.
The EMF issue is a biggie obviously. How many people do you know that are working all day long with a laptop on Wi-Fi on their knee and a cell phone to their ear?
The science suggests that EMFs affect virtually every organ and organ system in the body. And we have a growing body of science that shows that EMF exposures are detrimental to our bones and bone health …. we are talking a gradual weakening of your bones—who doesn’t know someone who has had to have a hip replacement? (I have created a brand new masterclass which tackles this very issue—see
below.)
Aside from the EMF question, there are other issues ... tech-neck, carpal tunnel, and overall poor posture from being sat too long at a desk or slouching on a sofa.
