In 1999 the first letter from the electric utility company arrived, alerting Donna to the invisible fields from electricity being a concern. As Donna, her neighbours, and their Council opposed the development of a substation and upgraded powerlines being built 120 feet from their homes, the power company threw them into a court case.  Donna’s effort created a WORLD FIRST in the EMF world in 2001.
