For me being aware of the energies, these invisible forces, that surround is crucial to health.
Ancient civilizations like the Chinese, Indians and Egyptians understood this long ago.
Being aware of and understanding how these invisible energies can impact our health is even more important since electricity and wireless came
into our lives.
I know that this is not a widely accepted view.
But there are others that share this point of view.
One of them is David Getoff.
He’s a Board Certified Traditional Naturopath.
David’s philosopy on health is that, “there is no treatment or drug which can
overcome or negate the effects of a poor diet, inadequate nutrition, lack of exercise, and an unhealthy lifestyle”.
Not surprisingly an important part of his work is helping people through nutrition and detox. He sees his role as helping the body's natural ability to heal itself.
To achieve this he uses as many non-toxic methods as
possible.
An important tool he uses in his work is muscle testing.
Every Substance Has An Energy Field
He believes every substance has an energy field. “A rock has an energy field, a crystal has a larger energy field, a piece of fruit has an energy field, even though it’s a small
one.”
David uses muscle testing or applied kinesiology in order to measure the body’s response to different herbs and natural products.
Always Keep An Open Mind
David says, “the one thing that I have found to be most important is to always keep an open mind”. It’s not because a therapy is unfamiliar
or different, that it cannot work.
He points out that, “if all people refused to try out new or innovative ideas, we would have no airplanes, no cars, no theory of relativity; surgeons would not wash their hands before operating; and we would all think that the earth is flat”.
People are quick to criticize alternative health practitioners or therapies as ineffective,
or a waste of time. But have they really given it due consideration, have they studied it? Usually not.
Innovative Treatments
He’s been looking at innovative ways for dealing with EMFs, energy based or energy related healing modalities.
He’s been exploring techniques like Healing Touch, Touch for Health, Quantum
Touch, Reiki, Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, acupuncture, QXCI/SCIO, Computron, Vega, Life, Rife machines, muscle testing, magnets, PEMF devices (pulsed electromagnet field therapy) and therapeutic crystals or gemstones.
