Who is Frank Ferrante?
He's just a regular guy living in San Francisco.
He love's life, he loves great food and he loves a good laugh.
But Frank (by his own admission) is also a drug addict, morbidly obese, pre-diabetic, and fighting Hepatitis C.
He’s also estranged from his daughter, single, and struggling with depression.
Unknowingly he stumbles into a local restaurant, Café Gratitude, which specialises in raw, organic and vegan food.
He keeps returning to the café where he feels welcomed and free from his collapsing personal life.
Ryland,
one of the servers, befriends him.
He decides to help Frank.
Ryland invites Frank to come to the café every day for the next month.
Armed with a camera and an open heart, Ryland
enrolls his brother Cary, and Conor another friend, to participate in Frank’s transformation.
Frank agrees that for the next 42 days he will eat only raw food, practice gratitude, visit local holistic practitioners, and get a weekly colonic.
Should you do like Frank, eat raw, practice gratitude, go holistic and do colonics?
Maybe. Diet is a difficult thing to get right.
There is no one size fits all.
Personally eating raw doesn't work for me. But the rest is DEFINITELY worth looking into.
And what this film highlights is how a change in diet coupled with emotional work can really transform your life.
This film doesn't
address the EMF issue - it goes without saying that rigorous EMF protection should be at the top of your list of priorities.
